He is a trainer at the practice, one of the programme directors of the local GP training scheme and also the clinical lead at Chapel Medical Centre.

Our team of practice nurses make routine assessments, give vaccinations, assist in the treatment room, and perform urgent blood tests, ECGs and other investigations. They are very experienced in dealing with all minor illnesses and manage patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, COPD, heart disease, stroke and hypertension.

The first people you will usually come into contact with are the receptionists. They help with making appointments, giving results, managing prescriptions and general advice.
The secretaries organise referrals to hospitals and liaise with external agencies to prepare medical reports.

The district nurses can be contacted on 01753 484332. If you are absolutely unable to come to the health centre, they will assess the need for a home visit. They also offer advice and care of the chronically sick or terminally ill, support and teach carers, assess wounds, and supply nursing equipment.
Solutions 4 Health are the new provider for the health visiting services.
The health visitors will now be based in one central building in Slough.
